Universidad de los Andes, Universidad EAFIT and Training and Mobility Network for the Economic Analysis of Conflict (TAMNEAC) are jointly organising a workshop on the Economic Analysis of Conflict with a special focus on Central and South America. The aim of the workshop is to bring together cutting edge empirical and theoretical economic research on the nature, causes and consequences of violent conflict, as well as the risk management strategies of individuals and households to cope with conflict. The workshop also aims to foster networking among young and senior researchers from Europe and the Americas.

TAMNEAC is a network which provides training to a young generation of professionals and researchers in tackling the challenges associated with mass violent conflict in developing countries. TAMNEAC consortium comprises 21 partner institutions from around the world and is funded by the European Union. For more information about the project, please visit www.tamneac.eu.

The workshop will take place at Universidad de los Andes, room ML-C, Mario Laserna Buliding, Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia. Calle 19A #1-96 Este.
