My research focuses on development from the point of view of relationship between firm dynamics, productivity, labor informality, and regulations. I am currently Dean of the School of Economics at Uniandes, Vice President of the Latin America and the Caribbean Economic Association, LACEA (2022-2023), and a member of RIDGE's Administrative Council.
