Costs and payment process
International Summer School in Economics 2008:
The cost is presented in the following table:

The costs are considered in dollars at an exchange rate of $ 1.781,29 Colombian pesos (as of May 13th 2008). Prices in dollars should be calculated based on the exchange rate of the day in which the payment is made.
Payment process:
There are three types of payment procedures: 1), 2) y 3) which are made for the students from Uniandes and students from other universities and professionals who are not from Los Andes University that require grades certificate.
For people who receive financial aid from his company or take the course as a knowledge update, please see the payment procedures at the end of this page.
1) Electronic payment:
The payment could be done by internet in the following link: http://matriculas.uniandes.edu.co/matriculas. In order to enter to the payment system, the University will send to the student the user and password. The student is going to receive them into the personal e-mail that he gave in the moment of the registration.
The notification with the e-mail creation and the activation instructions will be sent only to the personal e-mail. The students must access to http://serviciosdeclave.uniandes.edu.co in order to activate the Uniandes account. This information will be sent with a notification e-mail to your personal e-mail.
Before to do the electronic payment, please check that the payment corresponds to the choose course and the value of it. Please take into account that there is a unique date to print receipts from the Web and a unique date to do the payment which varies depending of the course.
The students who are not form los Andes could pay the course or the courses the days before or the date of the payment.
2) Payment directly in the bank office:
To print the receipt and do the payment in one of the Banks that are allowed by the University, you must enter in the following link: http://matriculas.uniandes.edu.co/matriculas. In order to enter to the payment system, the University will send to the student the user and password. The student is going to receive them into the personal e-mail that he gave in the moment of the registration.

3) The students who cannot make the payment in Colombia:
For international transfers, please take into account that bank transfers have a cost additional to the value of the subscription.

Afterwards, please inform by email to srojas@uniandes.edu.co of the deposit made and send the deposit slip to Sussen Rojas at fax no. (571) 3324492 to process your payment.
Payment process for those who are going to receive financial aid from their companies and require grades certificate:
The private or public companies tha are interested in finance the value of the course or the courses for one or more of its employees must send to Clara Lee (Edificio C. Oficina C-107 in the Department) a letter signed by the competent functionary (cost order person) with the commitment to pay the course (name of each course) with the value of each one. Please include into the letter the following: Name of the student or the students and ID of the company, name, address, phone and fax.
The student must to bring a copy of this letter of commitment from his company to the TREASURY OF THE UNIVERSITY before the Registration deadline date for people who are not from Los Andes. This procedure is necessary to expedite the invoice for the company. It is important to take into account that if this procedure does not occur, the TREASURY will not have a constancy of the payment and as a result the student will be retired of the course
Payment process for those who are going to take the course as knowledge update:
The student or some person as representation of the student must come to pick up the format of the payment: Formulario Único de Pago (FUP) with Sussen Rojas directly in the Department of Economics in the third floor of the C building. In the unique date of payment must to pay the value of the curse in the account number that is registered in the FUP in the following bank: Banco de Bogotá. The Department do not receive checks or credit card.
